Thank you!
By welcoming young people into your work, you are helping us grow compassionate communities.
Year after year, we hear from students that the visit to their charity was the moment their learning became meaningful. When they have the opportunity to see firsthand the demand for social services, and the effort of committed professionals, it is, in their own words, “eye-opening”.

"The YPI program is incredibly impactful for the Parkdale Community Food Bank, both due to the educational opportunity it offers high school students to learn more about the mission of our organization and the work we do in our community; as well as the funding opportunity for the food bank to increase our reach and quality of service."
- Parkdale Community Foodbank
Winner of YPI Grant in 2023
"I think it's really important for us to connect with that next generation. I think they really have to. They have to have that personal one-to-one feeling of what it's like to be in the building, to hear the kids, to see the dedication of the staff and why it is that they're so committed to do this every day."
- Sharon McCarry, Founder, The Little Red Playhouse, Montreal
