Naomi Racette - Board Chair
Naomi Racette, a Cree Métis from the Qu’Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan, brings a deep connection to her ancestors and a strong dedication to YPI’s mission. She has extensive expertise in non-profit governance, strategic development, grant-making, charitable fundraising, team leadership, and business growth. As the Executive Director of the Future Generations Foundation, Naomi is responsible for program development, large-scale beneficiary disbursements, capital asset investment and oversight, financial management, and strengthening corporate partnerships focused on reconciliation. She is also committed to ensuring transparent and accountable governance.

Éric Blais
Éric Blais is a seasoned marketing communications professional with over four decades of experience. As the founder of Headspace Marketing and an alumnus of the Rotman School of Business Not-for-Profit Governance course, Éric brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic acumen to the Board. His commitment to effective planning and his deep understanding of marketing ensure that YPI continues to innovate and thrive.

Lauren Hebert
Lauren Hebert, an associate in the Health Group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, advises on complex legal matters in the health industry. Her experience in corporate governance and her passion for community service make her an integral part of YPI's Board. Lauren's legal expertise and her commitment to volunteerism ensure that YPI remains compliant and aligned with its mission.

Marissa Soumalias
A passionate fundraising executive, Marissa Soumalias has raised over $150 million for charitable causes throughout her nearly 20-year career. As CEO of Mission Inc., Marissa brings her deep expertise in major gift fundraising and strategic partnerships to the Board. Her commitment to volunteerism and her track record of success in the non-profit sector strengthen YPI's fundraising efforts.

Freda Stolz
Freda Stolz brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in Human Resources across diverse industries. With a focus on People and Culture, Freda has driven digital transformation and enhanced employee experiences in various organizations. Her background in HR and her experience in unionized environments provide YPI with critical insights into organizational development and employee engagement.

Wei Wang is a Partner at EY with a passion for inspiring the next generation of leaders. As the executive sponsor for EY's Pan-Asian Professional Network, Wei advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion, which aligns with YPI's values.
